The University Faculty Committee on Budget and Financial Planning (UFCBFP) has been charged to 鈥減rovide faculty with ongoing information and input regarding Marquette's budget and financial planning process鈥� and to 鈥渞espond to requests from the University Academic Senate (UAS) to present at UAS meetings to provide insight and clarification on budgeting or financial planning matters鈥�.
The UFCBFP shall:
Request from the appropriate parties a full accounting of the budget shortfall in the context of the budget for the FY2024 that UAS and the campus community were made aware of on December 8, 2023;
Meet as a committee to discuss this information as soon as possible; and
Report to the UAS on findings and recommendations no later than the second meeting of the Spring 2024 semester.
