Ignatian Encounter Retreat

The Ignatian Encounter Retreat is a NEW one-night retreat. Open to first-year and sophomores, the Ignatian Encounter Retreat is a great opportunity to reflect on your first few semesters at Marquette through an Ignatian lens, while encountering others in intentional community.

What is the Ignatian Encounter Retreat? 

Open to first-year and sophomores, the Ignatian Encounter Retreat is a great opportunity to reflect on your first few semesters at Marquette through an Ignatian lens, while encountering others in intentional community.

Themes that will be visited this weekend include: discernment, community, and patience and progress.

The weekend will consist of student talks, small group sharing, prayer and reflection opportunities, and fun "Ignatian-themed" games and competitions, all with the hopes of further igniting your relationship with God, yourself, and others.

Cost

$15, which covers transportation, food and lodging. Financial assistance is readily available; see the Retreat FAQ page for more information.

  • Friday, January 29, 5:00 p.m.: Meet at Campus Ministry (AMU 236)
  • Saturday, January 30, 7:00 p.m.: Retreat ends, depart for Marquette
  • Saturday, January 30, 7:45 p.m.: Back at Marquette
